Evidence-Informed Change Management in Canadian Healthcare Organizations, a research project commissioned by the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF), was undertaken jointly by the Centre for Health Leadership and Research (CHLR) at Royal Roads University (RRU) and the Centre for Health Care Management (CHCM), University of British Columbia (UBC). The project’s primary objective is production of a resource document that presents current major evidence-informed conceptual approaches and frameworks that are relevant to the implementation of evidence-informed changes in Canadian healthcare organizations and systems, and summarizing the available international evidence about the effectiveness of these approaches and contextual factors in action, providing examples from the Canadian healthcare system where possible. The project’s final report is anticipated to be published by the CHSRF in Fall 2011.
